Hi all.

Thought I'd jump into this thread after following for the past few weeks.

I'm running/jogging/walking/crawling/hitching a lift on a mate's bike around the Brighton marathon in 10 days time (gulp!).

It'll be my first marathon after running a number of halves and have no idea what to expect....apart from pain. Training has gone pretty well, disrupted by the odd bout of illness and injury but managed to knock out a couple of 19 milers as my two longest runs.

Looking forward to support through the taper madness that is slowly setting in.

PS. I'm off down Tesco tonight to stock up on Beetroot juice.....

I've had to pull out of tomorrow's Bath Half Marathon due to a heavy cold. Even consuming a truck load of Lemsip over the past few days doesn't seem to have done the trick so have thrown in the towel to concentrate on the Brighton marathon in 6 weeks.

Therefore I have a place for tomorrow's half marathon for sale for £40. I'll be in Bath from around 2pm this afternoon until the start of the race tomorrow and my number is 07818 597755 if there is anyone out there who fancies a run tomorrow.

Thanks

Matt

Hi Michael

Apologies for the slow response, I've been out of the country with no internet connection.
I've just been informed by my brother that he's sold his number on Ebay. I'll give you first option in case the buyer doesn't cough up.
Thanks for the best wishes for my brother. Fortunately it's just a chest infection which is keeping him out of action.

Cheers
Matt

Due to illness my brother can no longer take part in the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd March. Therefore I have a male place available for sale.

If you're interested and would like to make an offer please private message me.

Thanks

Matt
