Hello All,

You may have noticed that "Shaggy T" has not posted all week, well its with deep regret that I have to let you all know that Shaun passed away Monday evening from a heart attack after returning from a short run.

His funeral is on Monday 17th at Peterborough crematorium at 14:30. His family have requested flowers from family only and any donations should be made to Bourne Town Harriers. If anyone wishes to then if they PM me I will send them details.

A great friend he will be sadly missed.

Hi All,

After a disasterous VLM this year, I have decided to go back to where my marathon running started four years ago, i.e. Loch Ness for my 11th marathon. Already looking forward to the 'slope' at 18 miles. I had had been warned about it by my brother, who ran the year before, so it came as no suprise.

Just need to get rid of my hamstring injury in the next few weeks so I can get back in to training to receive my jar of beetroot or pickled onions or what ever else Baxters hand out in the goody bag

I was just browsing round, hope you had a nice birthday, I don't need any cake thanks, Mrs keeps in cake that's why I run!

BTW Garmin connect is rubbish! Pen and paper is more use!

Mine was changed 2 years ago, final salary defenestrated, and replaced by career average, retirement age raised 5 years

Oh and Mathschick as a taxpayer I do subsidise your pension, or did you think the Treasury just magicked their contributions out of thin air.
