Raced this on Sunday, I use the term 'raced' in it's broadest sense, should probably said 'completed'. Any ways my Garmin suggests 5687 feet of ascent and 5560 of descent, no wonder my quads were trashed afterwards! Great day and a beautiful course. |

Hi Kerry
This might be a bit tame by your standards but I completed the Zurich Marathon yesterday. Great race, brilliantly organised with a real focus on runners rather than charity runners - didn't see any of them!

Race was 7 1/2 miles last year - this year's information booklet says approx' 10km.
Not sure what impact new route will have under foot, info booklet refers to it as multi terrain. Bearing in mind it is a 'charity race' I don't think it is likely to be too treacherous!!! |

| Forgot to say I'm entered for this year, race number arrived the other day so I guess it's no longer 'provisional'! |

I did this race last year, multi terrain meant paved roads, gravel and well worn footpaths and a bit of 'off road' mud. I ran in trail shoes and a friend in road shoes, both coped OK.
I nice canter around the grounds of HH, finish last year was into the wind and the last 2500 yds up hill until you finished right in front of the house. |
