Hi, I have just found this thread, as am suffering exactly the same. What is bizarre is that it is also about 20 mins 2 miles down. K wilson and Well done Daddy did either of you get this sorted??

Thanks.

LizzyB - lovely pics, don;t over do it tho huh!

I went for my 2nd run (well very slow jog) post birth this morning, I was only out the house 20mins and Ava was absolutely beside herself, hubby was furious as nothing he could do would soothe her, and I had fed her before I went.   It took me ages to calm her down.. But now the chances of me getting a run before DH goes to work is not looking good in the near future .  So felt good about getting out for all of about 30 secs, then have felt the force of being awake since 5.30 all day since..

Am typing away listening to Ava fill her nappy quite dramatically, I think its going to be nasty

hello all, hope you all had jolly bank holiday weekends.

I discovered I live in walking distance to a "sweatshop" so went a long to buy new trainers.  Ended up having to buy "New Balance" which nobody recommended, so hope they are ok.  It seems my enormous feet are even bigger since pregnancy no 3, and they do a shoe in a wide size so were the most comfortable.  Also got a sports bra in their sale.  And shocker of shockers, went for a (I can't really say run) very slow jog on Sunday!!  Used my groovy new watch which told me how depressingly slow I had gone, considering how puffed out I was.  Anyhow still felt really pleased with myself and am going to try to turf hubby out of bed early tomorrow so I can go out again before he leaves for work..

CM - hope you're ok, you've been very quiet for a few days .

knew the sleep was too good to be true - she's still up tonight, and its way past my bed time..

Thanks for all your replies re trainers, I will let you know how I get on.

Lotte, I don't know how you cope!  I do remember that I always felt better after a run, even when I had a rubbish night (seems such an age since I ran..) It does help to know it isn't going to last forever.  I think its amazing that you are still managing to breast feed them both!

Right off to try and convince Ava to sleep..
