Hi there!

Would someone enlighten me, as to what is happening? I still haven't heard anything, by post or email. Do Virgin notify everyone by email whether it's a nay or yay, or do I just wait for the magazine?

My husband heard last Tuesday, didn't get in and I'm still chomping at the bit.

Thanks.

Thanks for all the advice and wise words everyone, it's been helpful.

Yes, sunshine does help alot, and I've been through YEARS NUVB, different steroid ointments, creams, and tablets. I went for a run yesterday morning, rolled my sleeves up, and headed for the park. I'm trying not to let it get in the way of my running......but it's very obvious due to my skin colour. Anyway..........roll on winter!!!! I think a trip to the Dead Sea is in order!

Once again, thanks everyone for the advice! XX

Hi, it's been a while since I posted on here. Not sure why I'm posting as it's something I've lived with for MANY years, but since I took up running 2 years ago, EVERY summer it seems to take a slump, and the sporadic running is pissing me off big time, hence, why I don't progress.

Why? Because I'm so self-conscious during the day, and wish I could go out in shorts and vest, as it's been so hot and humid.  So my solution has been to run at 4.30am in a t-shirt, when it's dark, and there's no-one about. But these early mornings are killing me.

I've even stopped running with a group on Saturday mornings, due to the fact that I'm all covered up, and get too hot. I'd love to do some races, but feel this has totally held me back.

Thanks for letting me share!
