Happy New year, running fellas. All looking forward to our 45miler? This is my first ultra and currently feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. Does anyone of you know what the first half is like in terms of terrain? are they wide paths, grassy, rocky?

Hi Folks, Is anyone travelling from Redhill/Reigate/Dorking to Cranleigh? Me and a mate are in Buckland. We considered a warm-up run to the race, but decided it probably wasn't a good idea. Cheers |

Well Kingston, 1st or 245th, we have still done well. I am sure it will be the first of many. My next races will be half-marathons on the south downs. 3 forts in the first weekend of May and Seaford on the first weekend of June if some of you runners fancy joining me for some serious hill climbing! |

Ah Aaaah, that was him with the gels strapped to the arm! Aud, I just checked the results. I finished 4 seconds literally ahead of you. My watch said 4:01:53, but the official time was 4:02:03. I suppose it took me 10 secs to reach the starting line. Next time, we should write our names on our back! |
