I am planning on trying this for the first time with a friend - we have both done Dartmoor Discovery before but fancied this for a change - only thing I dont like is lack of medal - but thats just me being silly!!!!!!  We are the slow steady type but seem to love ultra's and being off road!!! Good Luck

Flipperjane - I did Dartmoor Discovery twice  -a beautiful race that is well organised and a great experience!! Roads are so quiet and amidst such beauty!

Am also planning to do Marlborough Challenge - also nervous about navigating but did minor navigating at Yorkshireman off road last September and did OK -= I too love off road so Marlborough sounds gr8!!

Have done Grizzly twice too - its the BEST ever fun - gr8 prep for ultras and such a scream if you dont mind smelly bogs!!! Again, fab marshalls and no navigating at all = spectacular views but hard hard hard!!! A race for not looking at your watch but enjoying the challenge!

Good luck with everything and enjoy

Very fed up with my 405 - used it training, pressed stop then reset as normal. Put on charge again for marathon yesterday --- took off charge, 100% showing on screen at 7am, Drove to race and started at 10am. By mile 13 it read low battery and soon after it DIED!!! useless!! No recording for whole marathon now - how annoying!!

Why can't we leave watch on normal time screen and not switch on training mode until when standing on start line??? I follow all the steps but still find it runs out of battery far too quickly!

 Can anyone help please?

Thanx

Hi

I get intense 2 day migraines that start directly after an intense, lung busting, eye balls out, training session - usually feel I've worked at max like fartlek or tempo or efforts

Nothing seems to stop them - end up in dark room taking GP prescribed strong pain killers.

Have tried drink, no drink, relaxing shoulders and arms, head &.neck massage, glasses, etc but nothing seems to help!

Very annoying but I now just go with it and put up with it!!
