Anyone going up to see the marathon(s)? I know there will be loads of people up in Town, but I am really tempted to travel up just to see & experience something (we missed out on tickets unfortunately, and I don't think my 52 minute 10k time qualifies me to take part in an event.....).
Didn't know if anyone had any advice on best points to head for - I've had a look at the route map.
Come down to Alton for the Downland Challenge on October 9th. Great race through lovely countryside, especially if the field has been ploughed in the week before it! You know you want to!!
