Oops! looks like I've upset people! If writing about running (and middle age crises!) and sharing it among fellow runners is offensive then I'd like to apologise to you all - esp. Dave and Wilkie.
Although its not a debate im likely to win here, bloggers only blog for a) their own pleasure and b) for the few (quite a few in my case) that find their blogs entertaining enough to follow and contribute to. I couldn't help noting Wilkie that your club runs a blog too at http://kingswoodrunningclub.tumblr.com/ so fair do's and Dave thanks for dropping by - you didnt have to.
I talked to RW about independent running bloggers a while back and whilst they're happy to allow runners to links out to their blogs it does seem to have (and they are conscious of) a very passionate and negative response among some members but I sense its a small (if vocal) minority.
No offense intended, just a genuine attempt to offer some (not too tedious I hope) content. I always check out running blog links and have assembled a collection on Pinterest but I wont add any more outbound links since theyre obviously not popular.
Well done all you Watford 10k folks who competed and sorry to hear you think maybe the course was a tad short - did I hear somewhere that the Gt North 1/2mara had the same problem? altho I think that was a marshalling fail!
It was a very scenic course and a great day out tho so I filmed it too (I've run it a few times when it was "The Bluebell Run"). If you want to see it it's on youtube now at http://youtu.be/X8hj4dc677A
(PS I do these videos for free, this is not a plug for my blog and I have nothing to gain from this link commercially so I hope no-one minds me including it!)
