well done Paul Rees.

my times for marathons are 4:37 and 4:17.     First time I had a stress fracture that was only 4 weeks healed, and i've still got knee issues from April 2010 London run...excuses excuses....snigger....

3:10 huff.....not talking to you anymore....hahahaha well done.... I'd love to get under 4hrs but in London theres soooo many people it just couldn't keep up the weaving in and out at 9min/mile pace over the whole run...

HI GUYS.

i've not posted for months....

I was a marshall at the marathon sunday. started my stint at 8am and went home at 13:45.

i was at milton park industrial estate standing next to my

VOLVO ESTATE with a   +++RUN number plate... so saw most people at mile 10 and 20. LAP1+2

by the time i went home I had sore hands and throat from clapping and shouting....

for the last 45mins of the marathon i fired up my sub-base woofer and 200watt amp and played "spencer daveis group - keep on running"  on repeat hahahahaha

seemed to go down well, with all runners even after 20miles giving the thumbs up and "just what i needed, and well done marshall..."

I've taken part in London twice, and i'm no "road runner" and know full well the pain after 20miles if my shouting and stereo helped get you through that part of the run its made my day...

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART, MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU. ITS AN AMAZING THING TO DO. SEEING PEOPLE SMILING AT MILE 10, THEN HEADS DOWN AND WORKING THROUGH THE PAIN AT MILE 20 IS A VERY HUMBLING EXPERIENCE. HOPE THE BLISTERS AND CHAFFING ARN'T TO PAINFUL....QUOTE I'VE NEVER FORGOTTEN....

"THE BLISTERS LAST A WEEK THE MEMORIES LAST A LIFETIME"
