| Am I right in thinking that this race (50k option) involves navigating with a map rather than simply following signs? ultraBoban mentioned "LDWA-style directions" - what does that involve? How easy is it to get lost do you think? |

Re: Isotonics on the course; I emailed the marathon sec and they said that it wouldn't be a problem to pick up isotonics from friends/family as you run round. There goes my excuse for when I crash and burn in the last few miles, if it hasn't already happened before then. |

Yes, will do the full. Had best get out and get some miles in these next couple of weeks. Sounds like that second lap could be lonely. Harry, I hope you'll be wearing something fetching on race day... |

Looking forward to heading back to my old stomping ground for this weekend but should it be for the full or the half? Decisions, decisions... Harry, are the race organisers happy for spectators to dish out iso/gels etc., given that only water's provided? |

Yeah, from the Green went past Hannah Waterman, Nell, Gordon Ramsay, think I saw Dermot (but not sure) and then saw Tony Audenshaw.
Did Tony's race go without incident this year? I remember last year coming out of Canary Wharf and he had a little bit of a tussle with another runner and a string of expletives followed. Most amusing. |
