5th time lucky for me. Got the good news today. Tried booking a hotel in greenwich only to find they are already booked. [ any tips on getting there and back ]
This was my 5th year of trying to get into the London Marathon . Lucky for me I got a ballot ticket. Im going for a sub 4 . My last Marathon was 4h 10mins. Wish me luck !
All sorted now . Thanks to the race organiser for making the effort to sort things out. Also 9 seconds quicker than my last 10 miler so really pleased.
Just checked race results only to find my name not even on the list. My wife counted me in at number 39 over the line in 1hr 16 , but I dont even get a mention. Dose that mean everyone after me has got the wrong race results. I will have to email someone to find out. Very dissapointed with this as I trained for over 10 weeks. I must say the finish line was a bit of a shambles. I hope they pull there finger out next year!!
