Never thought I'd say it, but "Well done Bath". Delighted to hear that they've banned ipods from the race.
Sorry BM, but you'll get little sympathy from me, I hate them in races. Love them in training, or in the gym, but not in a race, and particularly not one as crowded and chaotic as Bath, where you'll be a hazard.
For most runners, a race is a shared endeavour and all about talking part in a social event. Leave your ipod at home, and enjoy the crowd support, the banter, and the encouragement. And feel pleased that you're not causing problems for other runners.
