Ran the first one with someone who has never run before. Great event. Good fun. VVV cold. Course over three day eventing cross country course. A momento of some sort at the end would have been nice as many first timers woild have liked something to remember it by. Will do it again next year.

Talked wife into running a half marathon now!!!!!!!!!!!
I ran London this year as my first marathon. I loved it. The scenery does not matter to me as the crowds were FANTASTIC!!!! I am probably fortunate as I live in West Sussex and run past herds of deer, pheasants, badgers & foxes pretty much every time I run if I choose. If the route is that boring in London there are plenty of other more scenic marathons to run. My guess - London can't be too bad if you want to run it next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Played 18 holes of golf tonight. Was fine except I couldn't squat to look at putts - that's my excuse for hitting 98!!!!!!!!! Really looking forward\to running again on Monday / Tuesday - I have my 9 year old twins for the weekend - that should loosen me up!
