I take it that doing any exercise can re-open an old hernia wound when the patient has had to have the gauze removed then? So, am I just supposed to just lay back and become a lazy couch potato then? For fear of the healed tissue re-splitting open?
Yeah but the surgeon wont be putting another gauze in because my body has rejected it. They're taking it out, so the original wound where the skin has grown back over the split will be severly weaker without the gauze. Thats why I asked about which form of strenuous exercise puts least strain on your abdominal muscles.
I got a bit of a dilema guys. I need some help. I had a hernia operation about 2 years ago and my body has rejected the gauze that the sugeon put in, meaning its gone septic. Meaning i'll now have to have another operstion to have to gauze taken out. I need to know, if you guys know, the interal hernia wound will be weak without the gauze, how do I carry on exercising without putting too much strain on the wound?
I been jogging quite a few years, and it cured all my depression, anxiety and stress, but after my 1st operation, all that came back and I returned to being an aggressive, stressed out and axnious person who hardly gets more than 4 hours sleep a night every single night. That was 2 years ago, and njow i'm obviously gonna go through that again. exercise is absolutely esseintial to my life. But what exercise can I do that would put the least strain on my abdominal muscles out of these :
Elyptical Cross Trainer
I have to do some sort of strenuous exericse, because it makes me feel amazing inside.
Its not that I dont wanna eat more healthy its just that I cant eat foods I dont like because it then makes eating a chore and something I ireally don't enjoy 1 little bit. I've tried cabbage, leaks, cauliflower and loads more and they just make me feel sick, litterally nearly throwing up. I feel good and have passed health tests with flying colours so thats enough for me. I don't wanna eat more healthy if it means stuffing food into my mouth that i'm cringing when I eat it. I guess you fanatical healthy eating people never seem to understand or even wanna understand what its like for people who just cannot eat the kind of stuff you eat. But thats life. Anyway, i'm leaving it here now and not replying anymore because this thread may start to turn into an argument. And I certainly didn't start it, all I wanted was advice as to why I was maybe feeling bloated. I apreciate the advice you guys have given me, and it definatelt hasn't fallen on deaf ears, its just that I cant eat foods that my taste buds really don't like even if it is really healthy for you. I believe you have to eat fairly healthy as your body is something that if you dont take care of it it'll fail on you, but at the same time you have to enjoy eating or you enventually just stop eating cos you cant be bothered which is something I went through last year.
