If 4 policemen can't stop a dog attacking them then I think runners have little chance - whatever strategy they adopt. I don't understand why there remain so many pitbull type dogs around given they are meant to be banned
Just thought Wayne - has anyone told you that it takes up to 3 months for the thyroxine to get into your system at the right level? So that's why its not working 'overnight' for you. And speaking of overnight, taking thyroxine last thing at night has been well proven (since 2007) to be more effective than in the morning which is when most drs tell you to take it. I switched over to night time and also let it dissolve in my mouth and really noticed a difference.
Most people posting on this thread are probably fit and relatively healthy. But what will happen as age related illnesses kick in and we all have to work until we're 70+? To get certified for disability allowance etc is getting near impossible and finding a job that elderly people can do will also be difficult. My father was incredibly ill with all sorts of initially undiagnosed problems and in a lot of pain trying to get in to work and so tired with it...and that was when he was in his early 50's. He eventually took early retirement but that won't be an option for many of us. Bouncing back after illness or an operation is so much easier when you're younger.
