The aim was a sub 4.40. Came in at 4.27 beating last year by 20 mins.
I enjoyed every single minute. Simply the best running experience of my life.
I promised the girlfriend I would have a marathon free year next year but I am already thinking of this race again even though I am currently having trouble managing the stairs.
Just popped in to say congratulations on your marathons. I was not so brave and did the half. My first race abroad and have to say i loved it. Great organisation and a fantastic course.
Chocolate cake at the end was a bonus!
The ribbon for the half is light blue. Got roundin 1.46 which i hope to beat next year-yes it was so good i will be back.
Hippos are quite fast aren't they? Perhaps Samir could fly to Africa to do some training. He could go into the bush (the only bush he will probably ever see) and annoy a hippo. I bet his speed will improve.
I'm in. Done Llanelli 7 times and Cardiff 3. Nice to have another within easy travelling distance. With early start hope to finish before it gets too warm.
