Warbs2000,  I completed my first half marathon at the 2008 event. Fantastic day, loads of support along the route, well organised and a nice flat run. I think that the course has a different starting place for 2009 but I am sure this will not alter the experience. I am also hoping to run in 2009 assuming my recovery from a ruptured achilles goes according to plan

Hope to see you there!!

I have just finished the physio and am now starting to get back to running.

Been for my first 2 mile run in over six months and really feeling the effects.

Never mind a few more of these under my belt and I am sure I will be getting back to normal.

Just looking for some advice on getting back to training following 10 weeks in a cast after suffering a ruptured achilles whilst pushing a car.

Ideally I would like to get back to my previous level of fittnes as soon as possible. Has anyone else gone through the same that could offer some help?
