Okay great. Think I might be on the maybe list as well. A low key event might be just the ticket for me this year. Will see how my training goes over the next few weeks and make the call. Hope to see some of you there perhaps...? |

Been keeping an eye on this but does not seem to be that much interest yet. Anyone else out there got an eye out for this in Sept? |

Hi I'll be there again on Sunday. Glad to hear its dry. It'll make a pleasant change from last year which was horrid or epic depending how you see things. Partly cloudy outlook sounds just right to me. Hopefully there will be some good views on offer. Good luck on Sunday. Hope you have a great run. |

If you're looking for ultra distance races between 30 and 40 miles, two that spring to mind are Endurance Life CTS Sussex in March. Think there's a 30 odd mile option. There's also a similar distance new race scheduled for May next year. www.trailrunningsussex.com Otherwise if you fancy slightly longer around 50 mile options there's London to Brighton. I would also recommend any of the Centurion Running series. There are plenty of great off road/trail marathon distance races within range Steyning Stinger, Three Forts, Beachy Head, South Downs, Farnham Pilgrim, Greensands, Picnic. Nearly forgot Ceasars Camp in October. Think there's still a 30 mile option there. Not too far away and well worth it if only to meet Henk. Great event. |
