Hello,

Mr. Bump - you are very funny!  Hope you're feeling better soon.

LB - Hope the new oven is everything you want it to be and more

Shades - Don't clean your oven, there is always something better to do!

Well, I went for a scan last night as blood results were not going up as the Drs wanted them too and wthey just wanted to be sure with my checkered history............. GOOD NEWS!!!!  There is a little Shadie baby that is younger than predicted but all ok

It's my fault for doing one of those new fangled pregnancy tests that tells you you're pregnant before you've even conceived!!   If I hadn't done it so early I could have run the marathon at race pace and been none the wiser!  Oh well, looks like it's all worked out for the best ....................................nice relaxed marathon (PB !!) and a baby on the way.

Thanks for all your support, this place is wonderful.  It is torrential rain here today but as soon as the weather bucks up - hopefully tomorrow, I will be taking my little bean for our first run since the marathon.

Hello all,  Sorry I have been absent for a few days.  DH is away so been staying at my Mum's who has a computer that needs to warm up for a few hours prior to use.

Thanks so much for your enquiries both on here and by text.  Scan on Monday was not great - might just be too early to see things developing but they have taken blood and are going to keep checking that my hormone levels are rising.......................at the moment could be 3 things; too early to see, miscarriage or ectopic.   I will know more on Monday when they rescan me but just got to hope the blood tests are ok in the mean time.  I feel fine which is obviously a good sign..................!

My sister also had a baby yesterday so been very busy here!!  Such a tiny gorgeous little fella called Harry weighing 6lb 3oz.

Elspeth and all others that have been poorly, really hope you are feeling better.

LB - Well done on the 4 miles.  That's a massive improvement and you should be very encouraged.  When do we know the outcome of the FLM competition?

My first car was a yellow Talbot Samba with grey plastic seats!!!  I made the mistake of asking my mum and dad to buy it (with my hard saved cash!) as I thought they were more likely to get something that was in good nick rather than be swayed by looks - more fool me hey!!

As for the age debate - July 1975 - very pleased if that is a winner!!  It is unusual these days.

I will be in touch.
