Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone was planning on running the Richmond half on Sunday but is not longer running it and would like to transfer their place to me?  please let me know! l.swatton@hotmail.co.uk.

Thanks, Lauren

Hey All,

Just thought I would let anyone know thats interested, that I am gonig to have to pull out of the Edinburgh marathon this year as I'm injured (badly torn calf muscle) and so am giving my place up to someone else.  Someone who is fit and healthy enough to run it (not me at the moment!)...

As far as I understand from reading the information on the website, the organisers are allowing number transfers provided it goes through their system.

I'm gutted to be pulling out of my first marathon but it only seems fair to let someone take my place. So, if anyone is interersted in having my place please email me: l.swatton@hotmail.co.uk.

Thanks, Lauren

Great thanks for your advice guys!

I'm running my half marathons in about 1.49-1.53 ish mark.... I think starting the training plan perhaps in Feb time (as suggested) and ensure I have a some weeks where I reduce my mileage.  I must say, its my first marathon and I'm still having trouble getting my head around running for such a long way.  I'm sure I will be fine.  I cant remember who said it, but the saying 'Failure to prepare is preparing to fail' so as long as i prepare enough i'll be fine!!
