WA - not only did I spy hot drinks at the top of the hill but I am now milking it to the full having suggested to Mrs Gra V that I need to replenish my vitamins, minerals, etc over the course of this week.

I have just eaten a bucket of homemade beef casserole with potatoes and cauliflower followed by homemade rhubarb crumble. I love recovering.

Enjoying the stories on here after a long long absence! Well done WA, Seren & NR. Will you be on 'Strictly..' or 'I'm a Celebrity...' next Clare??!!

I was having an okay race until reaching top of last hill when I started swaying & got caught in mid-air by a passer-by just as I was about to flake out. He led me to the mountain rescue truck where I had two cups of sugary tea, a caramel digestive biscuit & then got back on the move again...running down the hill to the finish like a loony!

I still can't decide whether I'll do it again....had a fantastic laugh in the b&b with some Spaniards who were competing so maybe I'll scrap the running bit & just enjoy the festivities ....or watch Mrs Gra V who finished very comfortably & could have gone around again from what I could see!

There seem to be lots of different photography companies involved....am looking at FellRunning ones now but they are quite close-up & close to the finish so little sense of the scenery to be honest....the ones that have been e-mailed to competitors seem better to me.

Tracey - I'll let you know when I get an update on Rose's classes etc. Andrea took it last night but is away at an academy for outrageously competent teenage swimmers next week.

WA - I think Mumbles Lifeguard club were doing a 2 mile swim last night but they go back in the open sea next week - the things you overhear in the mens' shower eh?!

Happy cycling/holidaying Seren. Watch out for hedgehogs - they love bike tyres.

RK - You've tempted fate! I've just returned from swimming & Rose won't be taking the Wednesday session at the WNP from now on! It's all a bit up in the air. I'll let you know more when I can!

Good to momentarily see NR & WA whilst I was there too - an added bonus!

Regards to all in the Pie Forum!
