Hey all, Sorry I've not been around for a while. I've been reading but not replying. Well done on the article Ecky., I'll definitely be buying a copy. I bet Cammie would be so proud of his Mummy! Don't worry about feeling a little demotivated after your half. It was a massive deal for you and sometimes when you've trained hard for something, it's a bit of an anti climax afterwards, so it takes a while to get back into your grove. What race do you have planned next? Glad you're still marching on Kwala Sounds like you're getting on well. Is your mojo back yet or are you still forcing yourself to run? Well on your netball win last night too. Sorry to hear your weight is getting you a bit down Chocco. Unfortunately, it does take a LOT of willpower to get some decent weightloss, something that I struggled with for a long time. I've lost 3.5 stone in total and whilst I'd love to say that it's all down to running, I really had to take a good hard look at what I was eating too. I wish I was one of those people who can eat whatever they like without putting on any weight. Hmph!!! Ran my last marathon of the year last Sunday. It was a really tough one because it was off road and quite hilly, but I loved it and the views were stunning (it was around Rutland Water). I appear to have recovered a lot quicker from this one than my other 2 and will try a little plod this evening. Got a couple of halves before the end of the year now, but I'm looking forward to them before marathon training starts again in Jan for Windermere. Have a lovely day all, despite the horrible weather xx |
