My son is nearly 10 years old and is keen to get into running like his dad! Unfortunatley he is not a natural runner so thought a running club would be the best to help him develop. Does any one know if any running clubs in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area that have a good kids running section?
I have been training for Edinburgh marathon for 4 months on the Runners World 3:45 training plan. On the day before the marathon I woke up with my ankle in agony. The pain is on the inside of the ankle on the knobbly bit. I iced it and rested it but the next day I could barely stand on it. Missed marathon which was upsetting. Went to walk in centre on the Monday and they were not sure what it was and gave me Diclofenac Sodium to take. I thought I was getting better but forgot to take tablet last night and pain still bad.
Anyone got any ideas on what it could be and how long to rest etc.
Badly want to run but fear would make it worse and be out longer.
