I thought bikes weren't allowed - at least last time I went down to the long walk, there was a sign saying no bikes allowed!!!

Is there any car parking nearby? That way I don't have to run there from my house which would be about 6 miles anyway .

Hi,

Since I have finally got the running bug back, I have gone all out to enter a half marathon - the windsor half marathon on 29th Sepetmber 2011.

Is anyone else running it this year? Would it be advisable to run along part if not all of the route at some stage before the race?

 Regards

Bob

Thanks Lisa - felt good when i crossed the finish line - albeit went for the "hollywood" finish i.e. sprinting the last 50 metres trying to catch the guy in front of me .

Actually, strangely, got a real boost when I saw the 900 metres to go marker, and managed to up my pace in the last km
