I entered this race through Runners World back in November. I just happened to glance at the "Runners" list on the Trionium website this mornoning and noticed my name is not on the list of runners. Have I missed something, or am I looking at the wrong list?
Having completed a rather gruelling training run around Richmond Park in the wind and rain yesterday, I just wanted to check that this was not in vain!
I clocked this at 13.49. Gutted , as I was on for a pb! This really is a school boy error by the organisers, and I lost over 2 mins, as a result. Never experienced this before and found the whole experience from mile 5 very depressing, as I thought I had completely misjudged my pace.
I have just completed the Brighton haf marathon this morning. Unbelievably the race organisers screwed up and the actual distance was 13.49 miles, not 13.1! I checked this with many runners and they also clocked the same distance that I did. Is the most unprofessional race planning ever? Surely, the most basic thing to get right, is the actual distance?
