I am thinking about doin this as a marathon training race, doing Liverpool marathon and it will be my first. Is it a good course and what have previous times been like?? I don't want be last lol. Looks good and some great feedback plus road trainers ok?? I know its not gonna be easy but in between the half marathons I do a lot of of road races like hellrunner etc.
I have just entered this race and am now worried about the hills!! However i have done potters arf and Meerbrook 15km this year and managed well with hills, inclines etc.
Would like to beat my PB of 2hrs 1min (that was potters arf time this year) is it possible on this course? I had only been back running 6 months after having a baby when i did potters arf in June so fingers crossed i can crack the 2hr time, especially with all the running i do now. lol
Any advice at this late stage will be greatly taken on board. Travelling from Telford for this one but originally from Leek so hopeing to have some supporters cheering me on.
Rachel you'll be fine. The adrenaline on the day will help you up them. Im really nervous and i run 8-12 miles evey saturday, i know i can do the distance but still feel nervous!! Good luck
Gotta have a beer tomorrow!! Im a potters fan and my folks are both off to wembly in the morning!! I ran Hell runner in feb @ cannock after a drinking session the night before and didnt do to bad!! However a session to me is only couple glasses of wine.
Good luck eveyone. As long as im not last i dont care!!
