well done all. I had a pretty good run considering I haven't ran over 6 miles since december. Finished in 1:28. Definitely felt hillier than the Wycombe, Watford & Windsor halfs which I've run before.

I didn't suffer any marshalling/traffic problems so no complaint there. I only had an issue with the running number which ripped off after about two miles.

I won a compass in an attractive presentation box at the Cranfield 5. They've really lost their way with these prizes (sorry!)

woohoo! 3:15:10 for me. Ok, so I was aiming for a sub 3:15 but those final 2 miles into a head wind really nibbled the last bit of energy from my legs. I thought the organisation/marshalling and crowd support was excellent. I sit here today, completely satisfied that all the effort & training paid off.

Well done to all were there yesterday.

Good luck everyone. I'm off for the weekend now. Not out of choice - I've gotta have new windows fitted following a burglary (the thieving *&@@!*!)

Hope I can report on a successful 3:15. Gulp!

cheers
