I suffered a minor groin strain last Sunday and haven't run since. Had 2 physio treatments with ultrasound and planning 30 minute run tomorrow. Up until last week no injuries and training had being going great for my first marathon. Hoping for sub 4 hrs to celebrate my 40th birthday. Still hoping.
Freddo - we must have been near each other I completed the race in just over 1 hr 46 mins. This was my first Watford half and was using it in preparation for FLM. I really enjoyed the course. I was expecting the worst having been told about the hills but in fact found it a lot easier than my only other half at Stevenage just before Xmas.
Just completed my Sunday morning long run. Went to a specialist running shop to get trainers about 6 weeks ago but still suffer blisters on one foot. Any tips.
