DLR:  thats a definite.

The most frustrating thing was and I did stamp my feet and throw a tantram was that my legs felt fine - still do - so frustrating but no can't risk it again ...

Am now trying to figure out how to dog walk slowly enough and feel ok ......

Emmy:  well done you - excellent news

Well what can I say about sunday, lovely course and oh yes hot (but then again I was trying to do a marathon!!!).  Where shall I begin .... mmm.... if I tell you that it was my last marathon you may well get the picture.  I did it .. at one point HR hit 220 (not good and really took a while to get back down to 160 +)  knew I was in trouble when at mile 10 head started to bang and pain in chest (never a good sign) up until then (or 3 mins prior everything felt geat.  Saw Mr PF and friends at km 22 in just over 2 hours and just sobbed .. he calmed me down told me he loved me and was immensly proud whatever I did and thern added he knew I wasn't going to give up .. he then made me promise that if I did continue it would be my last marathon so I promised him that.  My friend and I (who was amazing) then decided to just have some fun ... which we did .. our derriers (bottoms) were discussed until they realised I could actually understand what the 3 men were saying so they called their friend "Michel" who spoke the english good back for a chat.  were given beer, wine & with 3 km to go offered sausages from a bbq .... and even more amazingly didn't do a PW came in in 4hrs (yes 4) 55mins was over the moon with this!!!!  Anyway back to cardiologist this week as (seriously) if I don;t move much ok, as soon as I get up and meander about it shoots up goodness knows whats going on but I will get to the bottom of it even if my full marathon days are over ......

Can I still loiter though even if I don't do full marathons ....... please ......
