Great time Roger. Fantastic stuff especially as it was pretty tough going into a headwind on the main road back to the stadium.
I did 86.08. 15 seconds off my pb but pretty happy as first race of the year after being out with a back problem for 5 months last year. Hopefully i can now get in/stay in shape for Brighton mara in a months time.
Rob: Give Garmin a call. I've always found them really helpful. If its within warranty they will send you a new one. If not they will do a deal on a refurb. I'm on my third refurb and aside from not coming in a shiny box you wouldn't otherwise know that its not brand new. You also get a fresh warranty.
Hard luck Steve and well done Yasunaga. Certainly looked pretty warm out there around 12.
Really enjoyed the elite race. I thought Kebede was toast but fair play he finished so strongly. He really should have been picked for the Olympics, I reckon he could have won it in a cagey championship race.
