Thank you all for the advice and info.

We will definitely be buying a Buff for the summer, and looking into the sun creams mentioned.

My wife is a keen runner and has recently been diagnosed with a basal skin carcinoma.

We are looking at taking all the sensible precautions to minimise sun exposure whilst running. We wondered if anyone has any experience/advise that would help in selecting UV protection lotions and clothing, in particular neckwear?

Thanks in advance

My wife is a keen runner and has recently been diagnosed with a basal cell skin carcinoma. We are looking for ideas to allow her to continue running whilst taking all sensible measures to avoid excessive sun exposure to vulnerable skin areas. In particular her neck. Does anyone have any experience/ideas in this area? Especially re suitable neckwear, decent sun protection lotions etc.... Thanks in advance

Happened across this event taking place in May. Sounds interesting, running across a traffic free Menai bridge would be cool. I know its a new event but having been disappointed with some of the more established events recently I'm going to give it a go.

Hopefully it will turn out to be as traffic free, fast and flat as the organisers claim
