yea they checked something before i bought them and said it was ok so im assuming that it was the gait test. My old trainers were just a pair of cheapos i got from aldi i think about 2 year ago but i tell you i never had any injuries with them

just read a review on these shoes which says the trainers force all the weight of impact to the outside of the foot which might well be my problem, wonder if i can get a refund

Hi everyone just lookin for a bit of advice. Decided ma old running trainers were looking a bit old and worn so treated myself to a new pair of asics gel 1140. Done a 5 k in them on sunday and all was great, they felt great on my feet, really cushioned, to be honest regrettin not buying them sooner, however they seem to have agrivated an old injury, The part just beside my ankle swells up and becomes painful, and also on the same foot the bottom of my foot has become really sore to walk on, so im having to stop running just now hoping my foot gets better soon. This surely has to be down to my new running shoes doesn't it? Or is it a bizare coincidence that ive now got 2 injuries within days of wearing my new trainers. Would really apreciate everyones views, ive ran for years but only recently taking it up more seriously so im really feeling low as i was just starting to put in some decent times

thanks

Hello everyone, been running a while now and today went to a running shop to buy new running trainers and while i was there had a look around and was surprised at how expensive everything was. I was just wondering where everyone buys their running equipment, if they pay these high prices or if they go elsewhere and where do they go?

thanks

paul
