How do we claim our prize if we've won??

I haven't been contacted, but I see I've won a prize!

Intervall training is definately the way to go - I was relatively new to running properly and I've improved my 10k and 5k times heaps over the past couple of months.

At first I found it easier to do intervall training on the treatmill as you can check your didstance for each intervall and monitor you speed really easily.

 Good luck!

I got a tattoo on  the top of my foot a couple of months ago (yes it hurt like hell).  I didn't run for about 2 weeks, but I did go to the gym and just put a sterile dressing over the tattoo to keep it safe and clean and I just did light workouts so I didn't work up to much of a sweat.  The tattoo is fine now - looks great colour is nice a deep no problems at all.  I've never heard of a tattoo "not taking" before either.

Jay Snizzel and Road Kill - thanks for your replys last week - sorry its taken me so long to thank you!

Good to know that there will be a range of abilities (my best 10km time is 49mins but normally i'm about 52 or 53 mins so I should be in the middle somewhere hopefully!).

Really looking forward to this one now.

Hi Everyone  I've entered this run and I'm really looking forward to it, the main reason I entered was because you get to go through the tunnel!!

It's my first event so I'm a bit nervous, I'm hoping there will be some other runners who don't have a lot of experience!! I don't know what to expect really - is the atmosphere usually quite serious or do other people, like me, mostly enter for fun and as a goal to focus on?
