First time I had run this course and loved it. Not my best time unfortunately as I am sometimes plagued with migraines when running and this happened yesterday but this wonderful marshall gave me his own drink and it helped me to finish. That guy deserved a medal.
This is what I just don't get - and yes it is always the blokes! Having to work out in pairs. What is the point? One lifts the weights on a machine while the other watches. So you're only doing half a work out! Can someone explain that one? Is it not more sensible to both be doing something at the same time? (and no it's not coz all the other machines are taken either)
I had shock wave for achilles problems too and am delighted to say it worked wonders for me. Having had months of immobilisation and it not improving with medics not being much help I looked into the shock wave treatment myself and never looked back. Had about 6 treatments I think and not long after that was back running again.
