Hi Swittle .... streaking again? Well, my last run was 7.5 km or thereabouts ... ish. Trail run from the acquatic centre in Whangarei with the club along the boardwalk thorugh the mangroves, onto Ewing road, up the steps and out onto Vale Road. Then down the track into Parahaki and along the track through the bush onto Mair park bridge, very undulating track all the walk to where it meets with Whareora Road, turn road and then return the way I came. Very humid and wet the whole time. 25th runner in to be breeted with a mini egg to scoff ... yumm Unicorns - nil kiwis - nil rain - lots |

6.45 miles. MIxed terrain. Out from Kensington athletics field out of town past the A H Redd Kauri park, up a horrid huge hill, then left turn onto Clapham's lane up and down along the track to join up with the road into Tikipunga. Past Whangarei falls and onto the not quite finished bypass back to Kamo road, past the Catholic church then back to the club house. Far too hilly, far too hot, 1 hour 12 mins. Unicorns - nil Grumpy cyclists - 2 Friendly cyclists - 4 |
