Multi map link doesn't work, can't do the clever stuff but if you cut, paste to the address line and hit go.....
OS site gives a very small window which might give poor quality print-outs off screen shots, but at least its at 1:25000 with contours, etc. Saving as .tiff files rather than jpegs gives better quality but bigger files.
Thunderstorms, ice, thick fog (yup, sort of sits on the chest, doesn't it?). All basically out for health and safety reasons.
Have been known to 'reschedule' runs if its absolutely tipping down.
Have been known to tolerate strong winds but get a bit fed up with running hard and getting nowhere! If its so strong bits of trees, buildings are coming down staying in is very sensible!
Love it on cold, crisp clear winter days, like running on snow (1" or so, not icy) - don't reccommend running in a blizzard tho' - gets in eyes, mouth, etc.
Can sympathise with you (non nancy) southerners who went out yesterday - strong winds and heavy rain is no fun, running 'bionic man' style into the teeth of a gale and looking like a drowned rat is not flattering.
Had two pairs of shoes from them - one on special offer, ordered one day delivered next.
Other pair had '2-3' day notice, then got e-mail to say supplier was awaiting new stock 'in the near future'. They kept me in the picture, e-mailed to say when they had receieved the shoes and these arrived the next day as well; and always had the option to cancel.
all in all, very impressed and would use them again. Only gripe is only one pair came with sweets!!
