Just wanted to wish everyone good luck.

I entered in March but am now more than a little aprehensive.... Still have remained cold and niggle free so apart from some of my long runs being made shorter by the local cows (they can smell my fear...), I can't complain.

I didn't realise there was a forrest section.  As long as theres no cows I think I'm going to really enjoy the experience....

Thanks Fat Budha for your help and support despite some of the negativity.

See you all Saturday!

Helloooo, am running my first one... Will be my only marathon this year and have only heard good things about it.  £32 is a lot but they're amazing experiences that you never forget. If you compare it to other events like football matches it's not ridiculous.  I'll admit I'd like to see sporting and arts events subsidised  (the public health and educational benefits would be massive) but unfortunatley that's not the society we live in....

Cheers Gooba!

Have been given a charity place so am trying all avenues.  It's always going to be  pricey and commercial  when you're running through central London but hey ho.  Have to say I prefer the smaller events and the sense of commarardary.  If you're running I hope you have a great day.

Hello people,

Firstly good luck to everyone and I hope you remain niggle free.

Secondly a cheeky post to say I'm raising money for MIND, the 10th/10/10 is world mental health day-so now you know! If you would like to donate, you can at virginmoneygiving. com Adam Cullingham.

Cheers- keep running and smiling.

Adam

Hello people,

I had a fantastic day and finished inside my goal of 4 hours (3.57)! Was really sick Sunday night and am pretty sure it was the energy gels as I otherwise felt fine.

Really enjoyed coming on this message board and I'm glad so many had a great day.

All the best
