I am so glad most got pb's and enjoyed the experience
Sadly I just made it to hotel and that was all was taken ill over night and in fact still ill so no race gutted as made this my A race of the year.So had to get hubby to come and get me...so watched race on tv instead
Smitters: I saw a man pushing a buggy/pram so no idea why one rule for others?
Race never happened for me travelled to Cardiff booking into hotel and spent evening being ill which also happened all night so on 2 hours sleep awoke ready for race day preparations but knew my race was not going to happen cancelled cab to race rang hubby to let him know checked train times to find 45 minutes later he was at hotel to take me home.Still not well but feeling better than I was although extremely dissapointed I knew it was right for me.So 4 weeks time is WSM half will just jog around and see how I do and leave the pb chasing till next year
I am running Weston Super Mare half Marathon so need to get myself fit and well so feeling 50% today so hoping to run tomorrow 2 weeks with LSR and then 2 weeks tapering again!! then base training for winter and getting mileage up to 60 miles if possible
Next year I want to wipe the floor with my HM time
Andrew I hope your wife is okay after her trip to hospital and you can reschedule your runs.I always ran before work then I left change clothes in work so i ran to work, ran at lunch time and then ran home from work......I hope you find a solution.
Alehouse: I checked my diaries and I used to run trebles 5 days a week and usually 3 long runs of over 14 miles....why?/? and averaging 120 miles a week crazy no wonder I was always at physio .
Nice mileage I made 40 miles for 2 weeks so my highest.
