I've asked for male because we already have the female runner sorted and so that is why I have said men only on this posting.

Have you run more than 6 half marathons and got a new PB

My name is Adrian Monti and I’m one of the freelance writers for Runner’s World.

For an inspirational piece for a forthcoming issue focussing on half marathons, we are looking for a specific case study.

 Does this sound like you:

 Are you male?

Have you run 6 or more half marathons in your running career?

Have you set a new PB in the last 12 months?

If that does sound like you, please do get in touch for some help with this article which will appear later in the year.

 Please email me at adrian@montimedia.co.uk

I really look forward to hearing back from you

I want to hear about your HALF marathon experiences

My name is Adrian Monti and I’m one of the regular freelance writers with Runner’s World.

In a forthcoming issue we are giving advice, tips and training plans etc. for how to run your first or improve on your last half marathon.

With that in mind, we are looking to include a few of you with your own inspiring tales of how you tackled your recent half marathons.

I would love to hear from especially you if…

  1. You trained and ran your first half marathon in the last 12 months
  2. You have run a few halfs, but knocked a good few minutes off your PB in the last year.
  3. You have run many half marathons (more than a dozen over the years) but you are still learning things about your running or this distance is still a challenge you thoroughly enjoy.

As I said, your story if we can use it will accompany the article in Runner’s World. It will only involve a phone interview with me at your convenience and we ask you to supply a photo of you running or a headshot.

Please do contact me to find out more and I really look forward to hearing your story. My email is adrian@montimedia.co.uk

My deadline for this is Friday (May 10).

 All the best

 Adrian

Are you a veteran runner who at times feels like a second class runner?

My name is Adrian and I’m one of the regular freelance writers for Runner’s World. We are putting together an article inspired by some of the hot topics from our forums in recent months, and one of the feistiest was about veteran runners.

It seems many of you runners who are now classed in the veteran category (me too!) feel you at times get a raw deal in races (for instance when prizes are awarded) and at running clubs generally.

If that sounds like you, please let us know - either here on the forum or direct at the email below - and tell us more about your big or little gripes.

Also, if you’ve changed your training, altered your goals or even come up with a new running schedule since getting older (anything between 45-80) also please get in touch. We want to hear the upside too!

We want to look at all the good and bad points of being a veteran runner. It would be great to use your comments in the magazine if you have some valid points to make.

I really look forward to hearing from you, so please contact us ASAP.

 All the best

 Adrian Monti
