I am following a smart coach plan and on sunday and monday I need to do an easy run of 2 miles each would it do any harm to swap one of them for say a 15 mile bike ride which I guess would do me more good fitness and recovery wise or would the 2 mile run serve a better purpose and I should reserve the cycling for x training/rest days ?
It was my 1st 10K and a superb event ideal for a first timer. Parking was perfect too. I had no idea where to position my self so ended up starting off at the back which worked out well because I spent the race working my way past people. I had a great sprint finish with some chap no idea who he was but it made the race for me.
Top day and it has given me the bug now for racing
