Hi everyone - I love it when this thread suddenly comes back to life! Glad you're still following this Charlie - by the way, I never heard back from that vague lead I was following up before. Sounds like you had a great run in '81 David. I still can't quite work out which year I was there - I am now leaning towards '82. Anyway, your suggestion is a good one CJ and I shall look into that because I'm still determined to resolve this one day. Tunbridge Wells half is next up for me, a week tomorrow - my favourite race |

Results update today:- "Sport Systems are still sorting out a few issues with the chip timing so the results will remain provisional for a day or two yet." |

John - I don't have a chip time but I wasn't wearing headphones so it's nothing to do with that. It is mentioned on the official website:- "If you were one of the few that had a problem with your chip not registering as you crossed the finish line - don't worry, we'll sort it a.s.a.p." |

Great event again but the course is tough. I don't appear in the official results - I suspect my chip couldn't reconcile my 49 minute first half with my 56 minute second half lol (I completely blew up at 10 miles - felt like I was running in treacle those last few miles). Still, was 5 mins quicker than last year so I'm happy with that. |
