Cheers SS. Happy to report I’m quite a long way down the road to recovery now, with my target being VMLM15.
For the past few months I’ve been running to HR and honestly think it’s helped me stay injury free as I’ve built back up. I haven’t done any specific speedwork but this week will be my 3rd week @ c.50 miles which includes a weekly hills session, a threshold session and 90 min long run.
Aim is to be comfortably running 55 miles per week by the time I start my mara programme on 05 Jan. So yeah, I’m happy with progress and am just being patient and thinking long term.
