Hi Alan, really looking forward to the race. It is my 1st half marathon and hoping for sub 2 hours even if it is 1:59:59. Are we allowed ipods on the race? Some races havent allowed them. I hope so as it helps me get round!

All the best

Matt

Good on you Matt, well done mate. Thought it was a good course although a little bit too much running round houses. I prepared badly with a hilly run yesterday much too quick. Energy levels weren't superb at all and affected me a bit. Like you say nice finish through the town centre. Will definitely compete next year.

New Zealand road was an absolute PB killer. Good event however. Looking forward to the results.

Well it's safe to say I'm extremely mad for it. Had 1 moths intense training, break yesterday and today , going out @ 10am Saturday morning to get body used to it. I dont think 10 pints & a curry tonight would've helped!
