'proven track'...what does that mean? Measured distance?
Just had a look at the club rules and can't see any mention of '25 entrants', it only seems to state about the minimum of 10 finishes.
I wonder why the Brathay 10 in 10 gets special treatment?
I'm at around 68, but it will probs take me another 3 years to get it up to 100.
I might attempt 100 parkruns after that
E mmy, how many more do you need?
Seren, the 100 marathon club rules are not fair in my opinion and hence that is why I wouldn't want to join.
I would like to reach 100 marathons, but it's a personal goal and I'll use whatever criteria I see fit.
I've nothing against the 100 marathon club, it just isn't for me.
However, their website is a fantastic resource for getting a full comprehensive listing of marathons and ultras.
just spotted it......revised rules I think:
13.2 A race must have at least ten participants finish the event.
which is a bit more reasonable than 25.
