Hello, people, as usual it`s been a long, long time since I visited the forum. Fitness has been very poor all year due to one thing or another, never lack of motivation though.

Have read back a few pages, there`s lots of news, good and bad and some excellent running, great to see some of you breaking the 60 minute barrier, really well done!

Have managed a couple of weeks of 2 mile jogs and now hope to bild on that through the Winter. Would love to do my usual Race for Life around May time, want to break 30 minutes one day, have been close before. I also do a 10k every JUne/July but had to miss this year. My friend has asked me to do the Glasgow half in September, it will be 3 years after my one and only half previously. I`d love to do another one and am told the course is quite flat, here`s to training going well!

Hello, all, friends old and new. Great to see you getting the miles in and enjoying running.

After a long, long lay off due to achilles injury I slowly and sensible moved from walk alot/ run in the spring up to comforatble 3 and 4 mile jogs 3 times a week a month ago. However, ill health has dooged me again and have not done anything for a month, soooo frustrating! Hoping to get going again in next couple of months but will be difficult with dark nights and bad weather. Have installed a cross trainer in the study but in view of a tv. Hopefully that will get me through Winter a little bit fitter thamn last year!

Thanks for all the good wishes, my little team and I managed to run Race for Life from start to finish today in 35 minutes, 2 of the team had hardly run until we started training 9 weeks ago, am so proud. I`ve had a fantastic day.

Thanks for all your sponsorship and good luck everyone!
