Hi I think I may have fat pad impingement in both knees (left worse than right). I have read a bit on the Internet and wondered if anyone can advise with how long it takes to recover? So I have to rest completely? Walking is a bit painful but walking up/down stairs and leg extension is especially painful with the pain being medial and below the knee cap, with some associated swelling. I'm assumming this is what it is and ive done it by hyperextension due to relaxin as im post-natal and breastfeeding. I'm hopefully going to get a phsyio appt this week but would love any advice available based on experience as I have only just got back to training after having a baby and have a few races/ events planned- one being this weekend, but don't want to keep training if I'm going to make it worse and risk ruining my half marathon summer training.

Good luck, I think just go with how you feel & don't put too much pressure on yourself to do it if you are not feeling like you can, if you do it, just enjoy it and go as fast/ slow as you feel comfortable & have lots of water with you. I only ran up until 25 weeks due to awful pelvic girdle pain but wish I could've kept going for longer.

Ha ha, after discussion on running club fb page I have decided to go for the armpouch- either an i20 or i10. I have a slim line one with no cover so is useless in any damp, although it fits me well. This will be bulkier but got brilliant feedback from at least 3 or 4 people.

Thanks

Hi,

I realise I may be asking the impossible, and there's probably loads of similar threads but can anyone recommend a good iphone 4 armband for outdoors running?  I have small arms so need it to fit small enough and not be ridiculously bulky but after ruining one iphone out running in the rain I would also quite like it to be at least water resistant, if not waterproof.  I know a lot of people will say, leave it at home if it is raining (which is what I currently do) but I have been caught out before.  I have bought several in the past (mainly cheap ones which don't work).

Currently I am looking at the arm pocket aero i 10 and the H20 audio Amphibx waterproof one.

Any help or suggestions gratefully received.  I would also like it to be easy to get in and out.  Thanks
