Maybe it's just the way I'm reading the post but it seems that your saying running at the same pace as before is now easier, doesn't this suggest you are in better shape and ready for a pb?

If this is the case do you really need to change anything?

The pace being dead on 6:30 a mile to me suggests this is the pace they thought they were running and used the time to work out distance, which in my experience is always a little generous.

Or this could be my cynical nature coming through

You lot should try our club runs, put down as a 5 mile run, told on the night its a 6 mile run, got home to find its a 7.5 mile run.

This when running with guys 5-7 min faster than me over 10k generally leads to pain
