I got a 410 just after Christmas and I have to say I love it. The bezel does take some getting used to but not much playing, works with gloves on. Some reviews (on other sites) have complained about clothes activating the bezel but you can lock it by pressing the two buttons.
X-Socks were good but expensive, I bought some Sweatshop Anatomical Run Socks (currently £9 for two pairs) in the sale and love them, no need to spend extra imho
I'll be running the Reading Half, it's my first half marathon having only started running at the end of August. I'm hoping for a 2:15 but looking forward to getting a PB whatever time I finish.
Am I a bit odd, I love running up hills they're the best bit of a run?
Thanks everybody for the advice so far. As you say Ratzer whatever time I do will be a PB.
With the 5Ks, and the 10K I feel like I'm running within myself - the worry that goes through my mind is that I don't want to go off too fast. I'm guessing I'm not the first person to have this go through their mind , and it'll come with more experience?
I'm fairly new to running, only been running a couple of months. My times are coming down - I did my first timed 5k (park run) in 30.33 mins and I've just done a 5k race at 28.30. A couple of weeks ago I did a flat 10k race at Dorney and managed it in 62.22.
The question I have is, am I realistically going to be able to do a half marathon in March at around (under ideally) the 2hr mark? - or am I too much of a slow coach?
