Hi all, on a similar theme, I am 46 and have been running marathons for a several years now (3:39 last month at Bournemouth). Thinking of moving to a Gratton style 2-runs-a-day schedule to up my game, but can't quite reconcile this with the idea of needing to have rest days. Is it simply that you can count easy runs as a rest? Currently do six or seven days a week including a couple of double days, without losing pace in the quality sessions, but not sure why my overall pace isn't better. Any comments / advice would be greatly appreciated.
Same here (too early for breakfast, long run, no adverse affects). I am always a bit slower running early morning though. Is there any good way to counteract this apart from just being awake longer before the run?
I was bought the magazine subscription (as a gift), and when the first mag arrived the printed address label had a code number you use to create a login to the web site. There were no problems setting this up.
